Reflection

This project explores the relationship between photography and personal perception. I photographed a participant and then invited them to annotate the image with their own thoughts, observations, memories, and emotions. Their handwritten notes transformed the photograph from a simple portrait into a collaborative piece, revealing how people interpret and experience themselves beyond what the camera captures. By combining image and annotation, the project examines identity, self-perception, and the contrast between external appearance and internal experience.
